is the Managing Director and the Sole Propritor of Baharuddin & Associates Consulting Engineers.

Born 23May54, Our Chairman did his Bachelor of Science (Hons.) In Civil Engineering from University of Manchester and did his Master of Science in Adv. Structural Engineering from the University of Southampton. As a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, London, UK and Member of P.U.J.A. (Brunei) his contribution to the Local and ASEAN Region Construction Industry has been tremendous.

In early 1992 he established the multi-disciplinary consultancy firm in the fields of Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

For thirteen years prior to 1992, he served the Brunei Government in various capacities. In the Ministry of Development served in overall training function; Entrepreneurial Development and Project Management Assistance to the local contracting enterprises and Resolution of Contractual disputes and claims.

Prior to that from 1978 he was posted in the Structural Section of the Public Works Department undertaking design, contract management and project supervision for a total project value of B$120 million over the eight years covering a variety of civil and building structures involving R.C., steel and timber structures.
