Working for an airline, cargo forwarding agent, or an aeronautic agency of government? Exporting products by air? Importing? Frequent flyer? Interested in opportunities and developments in this industry?

If the answer to any of these is YES, then the EAGA AIRLINKS FORUM needs you!

This EABC-moderated Forum is an open-to-all online discussion group that focuses on events and issues related to the air transport industry in the BIMP-EAGA. As such, it aims to find solutions to physical and policy impediments to the industry's growth, or come up with innovative ideas for sustainable development.

It's FREE, FAST, and INSIGHTFUL. You don't have to be an "industry insider" nor a consultant; not even extensive knowledge of aviation's ins and outs is required. All that you have to have is a valid email address. Subscribe today! Type your email address in the box below and hit the "join group" button. Registration ongoing; Forum opens November 1.

UNILATERAL INCENTIVES:
  • Travel tax exemptions for Indonesians and Filipinos bound for EAGA destinations
  • FFTR for designated EAGA airlines in Brunei and Indonesia. A third and last party is needed for this to be fully enforceable, as the FFTR (or "bus-stopping") concept requires at least three points in three countries.

OPPORTUNITY:
More routes, especially to the new areas of EAGA, i.e., the seven Indonesian provinces.

ONGOING:
•  Coordination of schedules among EAGA airlines
•  Commercial cooperative agreement
•  BIMP-EAGA Circle Trip
•  Visit BIMP-EAGA Year
•  Additional government incentives
•  Continued waiving of travel taxes
•  Additional air services and linkages
•  Expanding cooperation among smaller airlines
•  Cooperation among cargo forwarders
•  Other package holidays
