2^nd ASEAN Quiz Regional Competition

The 2^nd ASEAN Quiz Regional Competition was held on the 25 – 29 September 2004 hosted by Brunei Darussalam. It was headed by Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mahmud Bin Haji Bakyr, Chairman of ASEAN-COCI, Brunei Darussalam. There were 31 participants for this quiz coming from different nations namely, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the host country itself, Brunei.

ASEAN SEMINAR SERIES

(ASEAN INFORMATION SEMINAR SERIES FY 2003 – 2004)

An ASEAN Information Seminar Series was held on the 30^th May 2005. It was held in Halim Plaza in Tutong District. This seminar was coordinated by ASEAN Information Seminar Series FY 2003 – 2004. There are three series altogether and this was the first of the three. Two presenters were appointed for this series namely by Professor Madya Dr. Liik Arifin Mansurnoor and by Dr. Hajah Sainah binti Haji Saim, both from University Brunei Darussalam.

Schedule for the second series is in August 2005 and the third in November 2005.

ASEAN – Republic of Korea

There are three sub-projects under ASEAN – Republic of Korea project. Firstly, Korean – ASEAN Artist Exchange Relationship Programme. Secondly, 2003 ASEAN – ROK Culture Leadership Exchange Programme. Lastly, ASEAN Information/Public Affairs Government Officers Visit Programme to the Republic of Korea.

ASEAN Photo Editors Workshop

This workshop is coordinated in Malaysia and implemented by 28^th November – 1^st December 2004.

ASEAN Photo Competition 2005 – Prize Presentation Ceremony

Prize giving ceremony for ASEAN Photo Competition 2005 was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was held on the 3 – 5 February 2005 and was organized by the Malaysian ASEAN-COCI. Brunei sent two representatives for this ceremony namely Awg Haji Shamsuddin bin Idris and Awg Hassan bin Haji Zunaidi.
